He graduated in 2003 from Kocaeli University School of Physical Education and Sports. He completed his M.A. in 2008 at Ahmet Yesevi University, Department of Management and Organization. Between 2003 and 2006, he worked as a Sports Instructor at Narlıdere Municipality. Since 2005, he has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of General Culture Courses at İzmir Institute of Technology. He provides academic advising and coaching for the basketball, tennis, badminton, and indoor football teams. His interests include basketball, tennis, athletics, trekking, and automobile and motor sports. He holds coaching certificates in tennis, basketball, handball, and badminton, and has taken part in national and international sports organizations. He has received numerous honors and certificates of appreciation.
