Füsun Singi graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 1989. She currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of General Culture Courses at İzmir Institute of Technology, teaching Trademark, Patent and Intellectual Property Law (MAN 231) and Law in Business Life (MAN 230). Since 2002, she has also been working as Legal Counsel at the same institute. Between 2000 and 2002, Singi served as Legal Director at Urla Municipality, and from 1990 to 2000, she worked as a freelance lawyer. Since 2005, she has been providing consultancy at the Turkish Patent Institute’s Information and Documentation Unit at İYTE. She has participated in various seminars and training programs, including the Turkish Bar Association’s Advanced Training Program in “Information Law” and the Turkish Patent Institute’s “Industrial Property Rights” seminars. Her social activities include singing as a chorister and soloist in the Aegean Contemporary Chamber Choir.
