The occurrence of disasters such as earthquakes and fires, strategies for pre-disaster risk reduction, conscious search and rescue activities immediately after disasters, first aid, damage assessment, the relationship between disasters and architectural/structural design, and the effects of disasters in terms of planning, the built environment, and economy.
