MAN 223 – Creative Project Writing and Pitching
Course Content:
• What is project storytelling, why does it exist?
• Knowledge, skills, and characteristics of the “story” teller
• Critical Perspective: Aestheticization (W. Benjamin, Foucault)
• Focusing on narrative techniques to develop strategy
• What is a project synopsis? Preparation of synopsis/summary
• What is a project scenario?
• Use of visuals that strengthen the narrative
• Interaction studies (questioning, brainstorming, group work)
• Preparing scenarios for student projects
• Pitching techniques and application
• Quality in written and oral communication
• Stage practice with “3 Minute pitching” presentations

Week 1: Introduction to the course, the desire and meaning of storytelling
Week 2: Knowledge, skills, and characteristics of the storyteller
Week 3: Critical perspective: Aestheticization and the subject-power relationship
Week 4: Creating internal structure and storytelling techniques
Week 5: Project synopsis and summary preparation
Week 6: What is a project scenario and how is it prepared
Week 7: Visual elements that strengthen the narrative
Week 8: Interaction studies: Questions, surveys, group work
Week 9: Preparing scenarios for student projects
Week 10: Applied study presentations
Week 11: Elevator Pitch technique and oral rehearsal
