Nüket Dalcı graduated in 1992 from Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory. She completed her teaching certification in 1991–1992 at Ege University Faculty of Letters. She currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of General Culture Courses at İzmir Institute of Technology. Her research and teaching focus on Turkish folk dances and comparative folkloric dances. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Turkish Folk Dances and Applied Turkish Folk Dances, and serves as academic advisor and instructor for the İYTE Folk Dance Ensemble. Dalcı has participated in various seminars and courses in dance and music, contributed to national and international projects, and has performed in dance and music festivals across many capitals of Europe and Asia since 1986. She has also held national judging and technical committee positions at the Turkish Folk Dance Federation. Her awards include the 1990 Zakopane World Championship in Poland, 1990–1991 Interuniversity Turkish Folk Dance Competition First Prize, and 1997 Milliyet Newspaper Turkish Folk Dance Competition First Prize. She has achieved numerous successes with the İzmir Private Turkish College Folkloric Dance Group.
