TÜBİTAK Projects
Dr. Mustafa İLTER, a faculty member in our department, is contributing as a Researcher to the project titled “Historical Text Analysis with Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Models: A Data-Driven Examination of Reader Letters and the Government Agenda during the Atatürk Era.” The project is directed by Prof. Dr. Umut Karabulut from Pamukkale University and is supported by the TÜBİTAK 3005 Research Project Support Program for Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dikmen Yakalı, a faculty member of our department, contributes as a researcher to the project titled “Diaspora Dynamics: Investigating the Remote Contribution Potential of Skilled Turkish Migrants,” which is supported by the TÜBİTAK 1001 – Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program and coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahide Erdoğan from Hacı Bayram Veli University.
Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001 – 100th Anniversary of the Republic Special Call, our research project titled “Socio-Political Network Analysis from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic: Re-reading Period Testimonies through Artificial Intelligence (1900-1940)”, led by Dr. Mustafa İlter from the Department of History, has been accepted.Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 3501 – Career Development Program, the research project titled “Intercultural Communication, Identity and Cultural Heritage in Arab Alawite Communities,” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan Uştuk, a faculty member of our department, has been awarded funding.
TÜBİTAK 1002 – Rapid Support Program: Transforming Social Perceptions of Roman People in Türkiye through Auto-Ethnographic Narratives (May 2021 – November 2021)
The project was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayça Tunç Cox from the Department of Industrial Design. Dr. Ozan Uştuk from the Department of General Culture Courses took part in the project as a researcher.

Dr. Yasemin Özcan Gönülal and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ozan Uştuk from our department took part in the project as researchers.

Studies Program of Central European University – Applied Research Fellowship desteği ile gerçekleştirilen, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ozan Uştuk’un yürütücüsü olduğu Breaking Intercultural Barriers through Volunteering: Empowering Roma Children in Educational Settings isimli projenin çıktıları Harvard FBX Centre, Cornell University, Central European University’nin işbirliği ile düzenlenen Structural Inequalities as Risk Factors During Pandemic isimli webinarda 14 Eylül 2020 tarihinde canlı yayında sunulmuştur.
